You can carry heavy books and gear without a problem.
This good looking tote bag is 18 inches across and 12 inches high and is 6 inches deep.  The handles are 24 inches.
The tote can stand by itself because it has a square bottom with an insert that is covered in black vinyl. The insert comes out for cleaning.
And, to top it all off, there is a 7 inch slit pocket above the words "Woman Pilot"

Yes, this tote is very, very slightly scuffed, but not much. Both my daughter and I have these totes and while we took good care of them, we did put them to good use. However, there are no tears or other battle scars.
 
Cost: $10 for the one tote and that includes shipping to a U.S. domestic address where someone can sign for the package.

This tote is sold in "as is" condition, but it looks good, you will be proud to show this one off to your friends.
